A single-engine airplane crashed in the backyard of two homes in Marana, Arizona on Tuesday, Oct. 8. No injuries were reported, but authorities said both homes suffered "substantial damage."

The crash was reported to the Marana Police Department at around 8:00 a.m. near Avra Valley Road, per Fox 10 reports.
According to the local news station, FAA officials said the plane was crop dusting local farms before it crashed into the houses, after the pilot unsuccessfully attempted to make it back to an airstrip.

News 4 Tucson revealed the place is owned by Quality Aviation INC, a company based in Marana, a small rural town northwest of Tucson known for its farming and ranching economy.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the crash.
