In her interview with "Glamour Magazine" singer Pink says she is a "reformed slut." The 33-year-old "So What" singer says she uses the word slut to take away from its meaning. Pink also reveals a past relationship with 1990's boy band heartthrob Joey Fatone.
"It's my very unsophisticated way of taking the power back," Pink says in her interview. In "Glamour" Pink speaks about her latest album "The Truth About Love." The singer talks about all the sex related songs on her album.
In her "Glamour" interview Pink talks about the double standard regarding the promiscuity of men versus women. "I've always had an issue with [the idea that] ok we've both decided to do this. Why am I the slut and you're the player? You didn't get anything from me that I didn't get from you."
Pink, the reformed slut, has always been vocal about her feelings about women's equality. In her 2008 single "Stupid Girls" Pink talks about seeing girls with ambition and asks, "What happened to the dream of a girl president?"
Pink took a trip down memory lane when she talked about the start of her career and touring with N'SYNC and 98 Degrees. The girl power rock star said she got into some trouble pulling pranks on all the boys.
"It was Beatlemania for those boys," Pink tells "Glamour." "I got in trouble for toilet-papering 98 Degrees' bus."
In an age where celebrities cannot make a move without it ending up on page six, it might surprise some to know Pink and N'SYNC member Joey Fatone had a date or two back in the day.
"Joey Fatone was in love with me," Pink says to Glamour. "He took me to Friendly's on a date, and he bought me an ice cream. Such a sweetheart. He asked my dad's permission."
These days Pink's husband Carey Hart is the one buying the singer her ice cream. The couple has been together since their 11-month separation came to an end last year.
Pink has admitted in past interviews she and her husband's newly healed marriage is not perfect, but the two focus their energy on their little girl, Willow.
Pink says being a mom is "the raddest thing ever." The singer jokes she was going to fit her daughter for a bubble in order to keep Willow safe after the child ended up in the ER after a fall.
"That was the worst day of my life. And what do they say? 'Kids fall.' Welcome to parenthood. I thought, 'I can't handle this. I'm fitting her for a bubble," Pink tells Glamour.
