PHOTO: Florida Man Tried to Conceal Drugs from Cops by Snorting Them: Officials

After leading law enforcement on a short car chase, a Florida man attempted to hide drugs in his possession by ingesting them, according authorities.

On Tuesday, Sept. 19, 40-year-old Joel Craig Wallace fled a traffic stop after state troopers tried to pull him over for speeding on the US-19 near Mile Stretch Road in Holiday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers pursued him to his own residence on Kibler Lane. He then attempted to ingest drugs by snorting them before he was placed in handcuffs.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, Wallace was charged with fleeing and eluding, possession of cocaine and tampering with evidence.
