A Pennsylvania man apologized before stealing more than $10,000 from a skills game business on February 1.
Eli Jason Zasadni, 48, allegedly brandished a folding knife upon entering 3C Amusements and told the clerk, "I am sorry to do this," before demanding money. He also told her she wouldn't get hurt if she complied, according to reporting by The Tribune-Democrat.
The clerk put nearly $13,000 in a bag and handed it to Zasadni, who then fled on foot.
Police identified the suspect after the establishment posted security footage on its Facebook page. The suspect, who was found in a hotel in Somerset, about 30 miles from 3C Amusements, initially denied all charges before admitting to being the man behind the robbery.
Zasadni was charged with robbery, receiving stolen property, theft, possessing instruments of crime and simple assault. He's currently being held on a $100,000 bond.
