Oscar winning couple Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem have a reason to celebrate. They recently welcomed their new daughter into the world, after announcing the actress' pregnancy back in February.
Cruz was admitted yesterday in Ruber International Hospital in Madrid to give birth. The new addition to the family is two years younger than her older brother Leo, but only two months younger than her cousin Antonella, Mónica Cruz's daughter, which makes her a perfect playmate.

Javier Bardem has been by Penélope's side at all times during the delivery along with her parents Eduardo and Encarna and her siblings Mónica and Eduardo Cruz.
"She's incredibly happy and excited," said Cruz's rep Javier Giner of the actress when the news of her pregnancy broke back in February. Penélope, 39, and Javier Bardem, 44, became parents for the first time in January 2011, and since then, she hasn't stopped gushing about the many wonders of maternity. "Being a mother has changed me completely. It's one of the most amazing experiences of my life," Penélope was quoted as saying.
But unlike the first Bardem-Cruz child Leonardo, who was born at the Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, the couple opted to deliver their baby girl in Madrid, where she will grow up.

Besides this new addition to the family, the Cruz's have been celebrating since last year, when Penélope's father, Eduardo, started the family's "baby-boom" with his wife Carmen Moreno, welcoming a daughter, Salma, in February. Later that year, Mónica decided to be a single mom and opted for artificial insemination. She gave birth to baby Antonella in May.
The new "mini-Penélope" was born on the same day as Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed their royal offspring and she also shares her birthday with Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott's baby girl Eisele Kaye.
