Pedophile Feels 'Glad To Be Caught' By Police, Wants To Be Stopped From Raping More Kids

After being found with a series of horrifying photographs, a dangerous pedophile claimed he was "glad" to be caught. He admitted he was about to rape another victim.

Officials sentenced Allan Spratt, 46, to two years and five months in prison. Police raided his Deal house in December last year following a complaint that revealed he had been downloading indecent photos.

"In police interview, he said he was glad he was caught because he was on a slippery slope to commit a contact offense with a child," Prosecutor Robin Griffith told Canterbury Crown Court per an online tabloid.

Prosecutor Griffith added that Spratt was on the verge of hurting another kid when the cops raided his home.

Kent Online said the married predator had been grooming a girl over a few months. Spratt tried to convince her that he was "her boyfriend."

When they exchanged images, Spratt said he had a rare ailment that caused him to age prematurely.

Spratt persuaded her to go shopping with him in Sheffield after declaring his love for the fragile child.

After seeing a Disney movie, the convicted pedophile took her to a budget motel and molested her three times.

Spratt was sentenced to six years in prison and placed on the sex offender registry after admitting to a family member and pleading guilty.

After the raid on his home, Spratt informed officers that he sensed he was about to come into touch with a youngster.

Police discovered nine-category A, 18 category B, and eight category C photos, including a mix of photographs and videos.

They also discovered that Spratt had made "systematic" Internet searches using frightening words such as "jailbait."

Judge Mark Weekes told Spratt that he had been "absolutely blatant" in highlighting "the misery" that the children in the photos had suffered.

Spratt pled guilty in Canterbury Crown Court to possess indecent photos, fabrication of obscene photographs, breach of notification requirements, and breach of a sexual harm prevention order following his final round of offenses.

Spratt was previously convicted of raping a minor after posing as a 13-year-old boy online 12 years ago.
