Paulina Rubio is enjoying success due to her stint as judge on "The X-Factor" alongside Kelly Rowland, Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell. However, not all is fun and games when someone ends up in the hospital. A recent report from tabloid magazine TVNotas reported that Ms. Rubio was involved in a brawl with a photographer that made had him checked in to a hospital. Alfredo Tapanes told the publication that he was trying to snap pictures of the popstar while she was riding a bicycle with her alleged boyfriend Gerardo Bazúa. When they both realized they were being followed they attacked the paparazzo.
According to the article, Rubio said the photog put her life in danger and she was only defending herself. Miami police filed a report on account of Tapanes who said that he was not following the "Boys Will Be Boys" hitmaker. He recognized her as he was out and didn't want to miss an opportunity to take pictures of the couple. The pap ended up injured with a neck brace and says he has proof that Rubio and Bazúa attacked him.
This is not the first time that the singer finds herself in trouble with paparazzi as a couple years ago she was captures by TMZ cameras hitting a camera man with her purse. Paulina was arriving at the airport and spotted the main shooting video of her, she takes her bag off her shoulder and hits the photographer. As he continued to follow her inside the airport she notices he's right behind her and turns around and grabs the camera and repeatedly tells him to leave her alone.
