What is up with Paulina lately? It's been a roller coaster of good things and bad things happening around her.
First, she shines on "La Voz Kids," proving that her almost 30 years in the business are not to be taken for granted. Then, in her divorce settlement, she was ordered to pay alimony fees to her ex. Last weekend, someone broke into her mansion in Miami but only stole the front gate remote and her keys.
Later, it was announced that she's taking Britney's spot on "The X Factor," which is great news and makes her the second Latina artist hosting an American reality singing competition. But now, her success is shadowed once again with a lawsuit from the landlord of one of the properties she owns.
Apparently, Paulina stopped paying the Palace Condominium Association about a year ago and she owes over $25,000 in fees.
It's not looking good financially for "La Chica Dorada," who also owes the IRS over $130,000 and reportedly faced a tax bill of $530,000 due in Mexico (I hope we're talking pesos here!).
Luckily for the artist, she might be able to cover those debts with her juicy paycheck from "The X Factor," because we wouldn't want to see her go to jail!
