Michael Jackson's daughter Paris was hospitalized this morning following a "possible suicide attempt," her mother, Debbie Rowe confirmed to Entertainment Tonight.
A 911 call was placed at 1:27 a.m. informing about a possible overdose. The teenager was taken out of the Calabasas, California, family home around half an hour later and taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
According to Rowe, Paris was rushed to the hospital with cuts on her wrist and revealed that Jackson has had "a lot going on lately." A source close to the family told TMZ that the teenage girl has "tried this in the past" but "this was far more serious. It was not a cry for help."
TMZ also reported that according to another family friend, Paris "threw a fit" last night after she was told she couldn't go to a Marilyn Manson and Alice Cooper concert at the Gibson Amphitheater on June 6. The teenager reportedly ran into her room and slammed the door.
Before the incident, she posted some cryptic tweets that have people wondering about the emotional state of the teen. One of them asked the question, "I wonder why tears are salty?" and the other one quotes some Beatles lyrics: "yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay."
The hospital said "She's going to be OK."
