Quite like most “KUWTK” fans, Paris Hilton expressed her views on the hugely popular show finally coming to an end, early next year. In a recent interview with “Entertainment Tonight” the reality show star and heiress gave her perspective about the news that sent shockwaves across the world wide web on Tuesday.
“They have huge business empires. I am sure they want to spend their time doing that and being with [their] families,” said Hilton said, hinting at how the decision was possibly made as to the Kardashians and Jenner anyway have their plates full. “And after 20 seasons, I think they are ready to just live their life and not be on camera every second,” the heiress added.
Hilton and Kim Kardashian have been thick friends for years, and have cheered for each other on multiple occasions. She raved about how much she cherished spending time with Kim, and how the latter had evolved for the best as years progressed. “It makes me feel incredibly proud. I have known [Kim] since we were little girls, and the empires that she and her sisters and her mother have built is just amazing,” Hilton said. “I love them all so much, and it's exciting to see your friends do well,” she added.
Hilton seemed to be in a mood to contemplate over the family’s stance and sided with their decision to give shooting a break. Hilton, who went down a similar path with her own reality series “The Simple Life” in which she starred alongside Nicole Richie, averred that the choice could’ve sprouted from a decision to invest their time into businesses quite like her.
Hilton’s perspectives synced with what Kris Jenner had said in a recent interview “E!” and how the family needed to “breathe” and “slow down a bit.” Despite the show being massively successful, filming was anything but easy. The constant challenges played a key role in the team deciding to end things for the best. It’s also speculated that everyone in the family was on a different page -- the differences in priorities gave rise to a host of conflicts and filming, which eventually pushed them to take the uncomfortable step.
“I think the number 20 used to sound good until 2020, but the number 20 just seemed like the right time I think for us to take a minute and breathe and everybody slows down a bit … figure out what our next steps are,” said Jenner on the show. “We’ve had such an amazing run and we’re so grateful … for every single moment and everyone we work with,” she added.
The representatives for Kardashians and Jenners are yet to comment.
