Argentina and Paraguay will be facing one another from two very different sides of the coin. On one hand, Argentina is more than likely making it to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Meanwhile, Paraguay must hope for a win and a draw or loss from Uruguay in its match against Colombia only to grab fifth place and a chance for a playoff into the Cup. A win or draw for Argentina coupled with a draw or loss from Uruguay will send the squad to Brazil, while a draw and a loss from Ecuador would also have the same results. Argentina is at the top of its class, losing just one of its 14 qualifying matches, and it doesn't appear as though it's ready to slow down.

An upset win for Paraguay would be ideal as it struggles to move forward. A loss for Paraguay can be dire as the team has only scrounged up 11 points from its 13 games played. The squad, however, is picking up momentum as it brought itself up from the bottom and pummled Bolivia in a 4-0 victory Friday. The win could be just the boost the team needs to keep fighting for a fifth place bout. The team, like many others in these down-to-the-wire games, is in a must-win position, as anything shorter than a win could spell defeat for the South American team, and Argentina certainly isn't looking to go down without a fight.

Preview - Argentina: Argentina is already on top of its game as it tore through qualifiers. With Lionel Messi being ever the favorite on its side, it doesn't seem likely that anyone could take this squad down. The only thing that could possibly set them back is the fact that the team has not played a competitive game in nearly three months. It doesn't matter too much, though, as it won both its friendlies during that time, 4-0 against Guatemala and 2-1 against Italy. The team does have four of its men suspended for this match, Gonzalo Higuain, avier Mascherano, Federico Fernandez and Ezequiel Garay. That's not a problem for the formidable foe as there is no dearth of potential replacements to keep this solid team grounded, though fans will definitely see some weakness in its defensive line.

Preview - Paraguay: Paraguay has not yet recovered from its debilitating six losses in the squad's first eight qualifying games. The team is only one point in front of last-place Bolivia and still have a long way to go offensively. Though a weakened defense for Argentina could serve in its favor, the team simply does not have the strength to overpower the Argentinian squad.
