"Vampire Diaries" fans are in for even more blood-sucking fun with "The Originals," a new spinoff coming to the CW that centers around the Mikaelson siblings, otherwise known as the world's original vampires: Klaus, played by Joseph Morgan, Elijah, played by Daniel Gillies, and Rebekah, played by Claire Holt.
On April 25, fans learned the main backstory to for "The Originals," Klaus is expecting a child with Hayley, a werewolf and recurring character on "Vampire Diaries." Following the acceptance of his child, Klaus states that because "every King needs an heir," meaning he must take down his protégé Marcel, who is now in charge of his kingdom, New Orleans. Klaus departed from the city after being chased down by his father Mikael, while it was being constructed and Marcel took charge. Now that he has an heir, Klaus is determined to take back control of New Orleans no matter the circumstances.
"The Originals" is set to premiere on Oct. 3 after "The Vampire Diaries," following the premiere Episode 2 will debut on Oct. 8; "The Originals" will air on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. for the rest of Season 1. And even more exciting is some leaked news; the first five episode titles have been revealed online!

Episode 2 -- "House Of The Rising Son"
Episode 3 -- "Tangled Up In Blue"
Episode 4 -- "Interview With The Vampire"
Episode 5 -- "Sinner And Saints"
The premiere episode, "Always And Forever" will seem familiar to fans that watched the back-door pilot; however, in this version the story will be told through Elijah's perspective. The synopsis reads, "Klaus vows to reclaim what was once his -- the power, the city and his family."
