‘The Originals’ Spoilers: Davina Makes A ‘Life Altering’ Choice To Finish The Harvest

Despite having to wait until 2014 to watch new episodes of "The Originals," the juicy spoilers keep rolling in. And while I love any and all spoilers, these particular ones have to do with Davina, who is certainly going to be an integral role in the New Orleans supernatural scene. Although the most important power the emotional teen currently possesses is her leverage, depending on where Davina's loyalty lies, will certainly be the deciding factor in the war waging in the French Quarter.

Following the midseason finale, "Reigning Pan in New Orleans" the Davina ran away from Klaus and her former protector Marcel. With nowhere else to turn, Davina ran straight to seemingly the only human in New Orleans, Cami. Cami opened her home to the vulnerable witch, although hiding out is not a permanent solution. With both the witches, and now the vampires searching for her, it won't be long before the refugee is discovered.

"January and February bring us some big episodes," executive producer Julie Plec told E! Online. This leads us to believe that Davina will finally be forced to make a crucial decision between the witches, or the vampires. But whom will she choose? Well, Plec teaser fans a bit more, revealing, "A big move in the witch community, a life-altering choice made for Davina, and an attempt to complete the Harvest." The witches, headed by Sophie Devereaux will be desperately seeking out Davina, in order to complete the Harvest and resurrect the other dead witches, one of them being Sophie's niece, Monique.

Now that Elijah killed Agnus, it seems most likely that Sophie will become an elder among the witches. So while we don't immediately think that Davina will be willing to die, it seems most likely that Sophie will convince Davina to complete the Harvest, resurrect the other young witches and restore their ancestral power. After fleeing from Marcel and Klaus, feeling betrayed, Davina's loyalty will most likely lie with the witches, which will create big problems for the vampires. The second half of Season 1 of "The Originals" is set to be a thrilling experience; we are expecting to see an ultimate showdown soon! "The Originals" returns on Tuesday, January 14, with episode 10 "The Casket Girls."
