‘The Originals’ Season 1 Episode 5 Spoilers: Will Marcel Turn On Klaus Over Davina In ‘Sinners And Saints'? Watch Sneak Peak Video

After last week's episode "Girl In New Orleans," relationships are coming to a breaking point, following the show down between Klaus and Davina, tensions between "The Original" and his protégé Marcel are at an all-time high. The witches of the French Quarter became incredibly threatened by rumors of a new hybrid baby in the bayou, so in an effort to protect themselves they attempted to kill the baby at the source along with his/her mother, Hayley. But this did not bode well with the original hybrid, Klaus rips apart the rogue witches and then goes to Sophie for help.

But in episode 5, "Sinners and Saints" Klaus's recent romps may catch up with him. On tonight's episode Marcel seems to be on Klaus's trail of deception after discovering the dead witches. He calls his former mentor to the bayou, to help him determine what happened to them. In the promo video, Marcel reveals to Klaus that he thinks it's "the kind of damage a werewolf might do, only there was no full moon." But is this an honest and naïve observation or is Klaus's former protégé finally starting to smarten up! Marcel puts an informant out in the bayou to discover some clues and he phones Klaus to join him there, is he planning something? But despite Marcel's wising up, it seems the immortal hybrid is always one step ahead. In "Sinners and Saints," Sophie has officially chosen sides and begins to spill her witchy secrets to the deadly vampires.

However, Klaus and Marcel will only play nice for part of the episode. With "The Original" firmly cemented within the reigning King of New Orleans's inner circle, it seems he is taking bigger and bolder risks. The two vampires will come to a serious showdown tonight, over none other than little Davina. When the young but albeit powerful witches history and relationship with Marcel is exposed tonight, the relationship between Klaus and Marcel will change forever.
