“One Piece” Chapter 968 expected to continue the narration of events that followed after Roger located Laugh Tale Island. It might also touch on Oden’s return to Wano and his confrontation with Orochi who has allied himself with Kaido.
Roger finally fulfilled his life-long dream of finding the last island which he named Laugh Tale in the previous chapter. He also found the legendary treasure called One Piece but fans are still in the dark just what kind of treasure it is.
Of course, fans have put forth many theories on what the treasure might be. While some say it’s probably a huge cache of gold and gems, there are other more interesting theories stating that it’s actually a plan to unite all four seasons.
“One Piece is actually a plan to unite all four seasons into one ocean,” Sohel Moldharia wrote on Quora. “This plan was created about 900 years ago, and it was ebbed on the Poneglyphs. However, since the 20 Kings opposed the Ancient Kingdom, the plan didn’t succeed. After the defeat of the Ancient Kingdom, they decided to inscribe it into the Poneglyphs.”
With his goal completed, Roger is expected to disband the Roger Pirates in “One Piece” Chapter 968. Out of his disbanded crew, Shanks and Buggy will form their own pirate groups, according to Inquisitr.
“One Piece” Chapter 968 might also show Roger surrendering to the World Government. The installment might even reveal the real reason why he voluntarily handed himself over.
Meanwhile, Oden will return to Wano Country. However, Orochi won’t be pleased with his arrival. In fact, he likely made preparations to deal with Oden.
One of these preparations is Orochi’s alliance with Kaido. As Orochi and Oden’s conflict escalate into warfare, Kaido will likely meet Oden in battle, which might happen in “One Piece” Chapter 968 or later chapters.
This is a battle that fans would love to see. After all, it was Oden who nearly killed Kaido using the legendary blade Enma.
Unfortunately for fans, the “One Piece” Chapter 968 release date is a bit delayed and won’t be arriving until January 19. Be sure to stay tuned for the latest updates.
