“Once Upon a Time” may not return until March but that hasn’t stopped show runners Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz from dropping hints of a major death. The shows creators has teased that a series regular will not live to see Season 4. In an recent interview with TV Line, creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis reveal major news about the fourth season that will definitely keep a lot of fans minds occupied during the many weeks until the show’s highly-anticipated return.
In the TV Line interview the creators mention, “every series regular is a possibility -- except for Robert Carlyle.” And if you remember the winter finale of “Once Upon a Time” Carlyle’s character, Rumpelstiltskin, dies by sacrificing himself in order to kill his own father, Peter Pan. Fans are speculating that Carlyle’s character will return to the show in some capacity (because after all there surrounded by magic) but with him gone for now that narrows down the pool of regular characters to choose from.
Hypable makes some predictions on who may fall victim of being killed off the show. The first who seems the most likely character is Regina. After a wicked foe from the west is joining the show and has the most to gain from Regina’s demise. However if you’ve ever watched "OUAT" then you know Regina will do anything or sacrifice anyone to save herself and most of all her family. It also seems Prince Charming and Snow White are in danger of getting the axe.
While the two characters are in good standing on the show (aside from being stuck in the enchanted forest) in real life the hollywood couple is expecting. Ginnifer Goodwin and her fiance Josh Dallas are expecting a new baby and it could be that the couple may want some time away from the “Once Upon a Time” to raise their child. Other possibilities include Emma (Jennifer Morrison) or Henry (Jared Gilmore) but as they are the two main characters it seems highly unlikely, but anything is possible.
