'Once Upon A Time' Season 4 Spoilers: Will Sean Maguire's Robin Hood Become A Series Regular?

Now that season four of "Once Upon a Time" has been confirmed by ABC fans are not only wondering what magical realms we will visit next but which cast members will return?

One of the highlights from this season, besides the Wicked Witch, has been Regina's (Lana Parrilla) steaming hot romance with Robin Hood (Sean Maguire). So can we expect to see more of the couple with Maguire coming on full-time or will her love fizzle out this season?

“It’s too soon to say,” co-executive producer Edward Kitsis told TVLine about the possibility of Sean becoming a series regular. “I would wait and see.”

While this tells us nothing it's normal for the co-creators Kitsis and Adam Horowitz to be vague about OUAT spoilers. That being said there are plenty of reasons to keep him around.

The first is how cute a couple him and Regina make! Seriously they are the cutest couple on the show! Secondly, how cruel would it be to take away her love after she's been through so much. We've seen them become more intimate and closer as the season has progressed and it finally seems like Regina can be happy and good.

But then that could be the reason he won't return. Perhaps the series creators have a plan to get Robin Hood lout of the picture so Regina can hop on the evil bandwagon again.

There is also the possibility that Robin won't be sticking around because he is being replaced by newcomer Michael Socha (Will Scarlet/The Knave of Hearts). Socha was originally on OUAT in Wonderland but now that the show has been canceled it was revealed he is coming on as a series regular for OUAT season 4.

Then again if you recall Socha's character, Will Scarlet, was once in Robin Hood's gang of Merry Men so perhaps he will need his former boss around when he arrives in Storybrooke.

Only time will tell but perhaps we will learn more from Kitsis and Horowitz sooner than later.
