"Once Upon a Time" will return from its winter hiatus in March and we can't wait to see how everything works out. The mid season finale ended with Robin Hood and his family leaving Storybrooke along with Mr. Gold/Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) being forced out by Belle (Emilie de Ravin). We also seen the end of the Snow Queen and was introduced to our new villains for the second half of season four.
We already know Rumple will be working with the Queens of Darkness but we don't know to what end. Our top guesses are to get back his power and theirs, to win back Belle or perhaps both. But the real question is will she be able to forgive him for lying to her yet again?
Edward Kitsis, the series creator and show runner for "OUAT," recently sat down with Entertainment Weekly and discussed what fans can expect for the second half of season four. Kitsis revealed that the second half's theme will be all about forgiveness and we may even see Belle finding a way to forgive Rumplestiltskin. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out when "Once Upon a Time" returns. In the meantime check out these other exciting details:
1. TVLine has revealed that Agnes Bruckner will appear in a three-episode arc. There's been a lot of speculation that she might have been cast for a character called Autumn. According to a description from Hypable, her character is that of a woman of extreme charisma who is independent and is capable of effortlessly wrapping people around her in her schemes. Despite the fact that Autumn is regarded as a constant trouble maker, her character is made out to be somebody who simply wants to be loved. She ends up being alienated by the people most close to her due to her unconventional methods.
2. There are several more characters expected to make their entry during the second half of the fourth season of "OUAT." The celebrity list of cast members include Ernie Hudson who plays Poseidon, Eion Bailey who plays August, Sebastian Roche playing King Stefan, and JoAnna Garcia Swisher who portrays Ariel from the "Little Mermaid."
3. Co-creator Adam Horowitz gave fans an Easter egg telling TVLine, we’re going to get an explanation regarding the days of Tom Ellis playing Robin Hood:
“And for the uber-observant fans … we’re going to shed some light on just why he might have looked different and not had a tattoo in Season 2.″
4. Lana Parrilla revealed that Regina and Henry will still continues operation mongoose to find the author of the storybook. “This is a quest that has been quite difficult for Regina,” Lana Parrilla revealed to Entertainment Weekly. “With all the research she’s done thus far and Operation Mongoose, she keeps hitting dead end after dead end. She’s lost some faith in ever finding the author, but she’s still not going to give up.”
5. The Wicked Witch Zelena (Rebecca Mader) will make her return to the series. Some fans of the hit fairytale drama were able to get close to the ABC set and grab a few pictures. In the shots we see Mader in all her green glory sporting a long sparkly black gown, fur-lined cape and pointed black hat. She'll most likely return in a flashback story as we know Rumple stuck a dagger in her in season three.
"Once Upon a Time" returns with the episode, "Darkness on the Edge of Town" on March 1 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
