A Mississippi police officer was discovered by fellow officers passed out in his patrol car with a meth pipe in his hand.
The Belzoni, Miss., officer, who was identified as James Jackson, was arrested by Yazoo City police on Oct. 5, Yazoo City Police Chief Terry Gann reported to WLBT.
When officers searched the patrol vehicle occupied by Jackson, they also discovered marijuana in the glovebox. Marijuana is illegal in the state of Mississippi.
Jackson refused to take a sobriety test and was placed under arrest. Currently released on bond, Jackson is charged with possession of paraphernalia and DUI refusal.
