'Nuestra Belleza Latina' VIP: 8 Reasons You Must Watch Semi-Final With Guest Star J Balvin

"Nuestra Belleza Latina" keeps celebrating its 10th anniversary with the special edition, "NBL VIP." In season 10, past contestants were given the opportunity to battle once more for the crown.

A lot of excitement happened in the midst of the 10th season: the group of beautiful girls faced many challenges, guest stars such as Thalia and Maluma invaded the stage, and many personal heartbreaking confessions were revealed.

Now, with the grand finale just around the corner, we bring you eight reasons why you can't miss the semi-finals and this weekend's new episode airing at 9 p.m. EST on Sunday, May 15 via Univision.

• Sunday nights episode will kick off with Colombian hit-maker J Balvin, who will perform his new single "Bobo" and his previous No. 1 single "Ginza."
• Gente de Zona will also invade the stage as the "Gozadera" duo will perform their latest track "Algo Contigo."
• Joining J Balvin and Gente de Zona is Mexican Regional band Calibre 50.
• The remaining contestants will flaunt glamorous gowns designed by Alejandro Fajardo.
• Setareh, Catherine, Ligia, Clarissa and Barbara will face the last challenge of the season: the vertical runway of Maybelline New York.
• Meet the family members and fans of each contestant from cities Los Angeles, Houston, New York, Miami and Puerto Rico.
• The five contestants will face the last question by the set of intimidating judges.
• Get to know the four finalists who will go head-to-head in the grand finale.

For those who missed the Mother's Day special with guest stars Thalía and Maluma, here's a small recap!

The Mexican singer and actress captivated the audience with her first public performance of "Vuelveme a Querer," the second single off of her new album "Latina." She also presented her new clothing line collection by allowing the gorgeous contestants to flaunt some of the wardrobe and accessories.

The challenge of the night was not quite challenging as the girls had to show off their acting skills with telenovela heartthrobs Julian Gil, Pedro Moreno and Diego Olivera.

Maluma then turned up the heat as he performed his single "El Perdedor" and the girls modeled in sexy swimwear. Needless to say, each of the girls received a special surprise from their moms in this Mother's Day edition.
