‘Nuestra Belleza Latina’ Spoilers: New Twist Shocks Beauty Queens And Third Girl Gets Eliminated [RECAP]

It was another week of "Nuestra Belleza Latina 2014" gala and one more beauty queen had to drop, but not before receiving some major news that shocked the girls. The 10 remaining beauties were joined by J.Balvin who kicked off the runway show singing "6am." Osmel, Lupita and Jencarlos dropped a big bomb when they revealed that Alicia's girls were too arrogant, while Denise's girls were too dull and made the mentor switch teams, a twist that nobody saw coming. Jomari was introduced as the fourth judge and came to the defense of the girls and as a representative of "the people's voice."

For one of the week’s challenges, the Nuestra Belleza Latina contestants faced off on an aquatic runway supported by four heartthrobs, where the trick was to walk without falling into the water. Even Alejandra dared to give it a try. Alina, Gabriela and Aleyda were the three winners who were able to participate in a photo session for Seventeen magazine. In another challenge, the girls had to show off their creativity, as each team was asked to produce a TV commercial. There was a lot of raw emotion in the air at the beginning of the taping, when the captain of each team was forced to say goodbye to one of her girls. As the captain of Alicia’s team, Aly turned out to be an excellent leader, eliminating herself to avoid harming her team members. Her decision consolidated her as a true team player and led them to win the competition.

There was a lot of tension at the Mansion this week; the girls confronted Valeria, bringing her to tears. Additionally, Yesenia and Prissila talked about their past. Yesenia confessed that her mother is an alcoholic and Prissila said that every step she takes in this competition is with her grandparents in mind. This time, Denise’s team decided that Aly Villegas should be the one to go to the judges’ line. Aly returned to her team and the judges announced Yesenia as the third contestant to be eliminated in Nuestra Belleza Latina. “I have no words to explain. I always wanted to be here. Thank you, Osmel, for giving me the pass this year,” said the Mexican who opened up about her family problems in this gala show. One of her dreams was to be a part of the reality show and have the support of her mother during her time there.

Jamie Foxx and George Lopez visited the show and shared some time with the girls as they recorded voice of various characters of "Rio 2." Spanish singer Pablo Alborán also joined the ladies as they walked the runway in evening gowns. Next Sunday the competition takes another turn as Alicia and Denise's teams have switched, drama and tension will spark in the mansion and can complicate relationships. "Nuestra Belleza Latina 2014" airs Sundays at 8/7c p.m. on Univision.
