Match Preview - No. 2 Andy Murray
Andy Murray looked somewhat shaky at the start of his semifinal match against No. 24 Jerzy Janowicz. Dropping the first set in a 7-6 tiebreaker after failing to convert on multiple set points, Murray and the home crowd suffered through an early hole.

Despite the fact that the 26-year-old Great Britain native came back to even the match at one-all after closing out the second set 6-4, Murray found himself in a significant third set hole. Janowicz took a seemingly quick 4-1 advantage in the third but Murray buckled down the rest of the way.
Winning five-consecutive games to close out the frame, the crowd favorite was one match away from advancing to a second-consecutive Wimbledon final. After closing out the rising Polish talent, Murray now has a chance to become the first British man to win Wimbledon since Fred Perry won the title back in 1936.
"The first set was tight, I had a few chances but he came out with some big shots and he got on a roll, but I managed to turn it round," Murray said on his ability to stay the course and get back in the match. "I am in a better place mentally than before, a little calmer going into Sunday. But you never know I might wake up and be unbelievably nervous."
Knowing he holds the ability to take down the World's top-ranked player, Andy Murray seemed confident in his chances of finally winning a Major Championship in front of the home crowd.
"Novak is moving very, very well," he said after the four-set win. But I beat him here at the Olympics, and I'll take that thought into my head when I play him on Sunday."
Match Preview - No. 1 Novak Djokovic
While Andy Murray certainly displayed his ability to come from behind when it matters most, World No. 1 Novak Djokovic also showcased his moxie in a historic semifinal match with close friend Juan Martin del Potro.
Djokovic seemed to have the early leg up in the semi but every time the 26-year-old looked like he'd be able to gain full control of the match, the 2009 U.S. Open champion fired back in a big way.

After Novak took the opening set 7-5, del Potro answered with a 6-4 second set victory. Djokovic took the third frame in a 7-6 tiebreaker and after battling back on multiple occasions in the fourth, delPo evened the match at two-all winning his own version of a tiebreaker.
Finally able to outlast a worthy opponent who is playing some of the best tennis of his career, Novak Djokovic closed out a five-set thriller 6-3, capping off the longest semifinal in Wimbledon history at 4 hours and 43 minutes.
"I have been pushed to the limit today," Djokovic said after the semifinal victory. It was one of the most thrilling matches that I have ever played, especially here in Wimbledon. It was a very high-quality tennis from the first to the last point. There's not many unforced errors, a lot of winners. Both of us, we tried to dictate the play."
