Nintendo today revealed their own E3 presentation or its "Digital Event." The company decided to showcase a plethora of games using stop animation (think Robot Chicken). The company revealed a ton of information for games like "Super Smash Bros." for Wii U and 3DS, two new Zelda games and much more. Check out some of highlights below:
1. The company announced two of the cutest games ever! The first is the follow-up to 2005's "Kirby: Canvas Curse" on the DS. Nintendo revealed "Kirby and the Rainbow Curse" will debut on the Wii U. The titles trailer showed off a plethora of vehicles Kirby could turn into including a tank, rockets and more. The second was showing the second was showing the development of "Yoshi's Wooly World."
2. The company also confirmed the much-rumored game "Mario Maker." This new Mario title lets users create and edit levels using assets found in the original "Super Mario Bros." for NES. The title is set to launch in 2015 but is now available for pre-order at Amazon.
3. "Hyrule Warriors," which is an action packed spin-off game in "The Legend of Zelda" series was revealed and got a release date for the Wii U. The title will be coming to the Wii U eShop September 26. During Nintendo's digital event there was a video showcasing Link, Zelda and Midna all fighting hoardes of bad guys.
4. As for the highly-anticipated "Super Smash Bros." Nintendo revealed the officially release date for the 3DS version which was unfortunately pushed back to October 3, 2014. The Wii U version is still on track for a 2014 holiday release. A huge announcement for the title was the introductiont o customizable Mii fighters for the 3DS and Wii U versions of the title.
Players can import Mii's and choose from a huge variety of fighting styles. there are three classes of fighters including the Brawler, the Swordfighter and Gunners. Your can choose four special moves for your customizable Mii Fighter from a list of 12. But that's not all the company announced the goddess Palutena from "Kid Icarus" franchise.
5. Nintendo unveiled the first details of Amiibo. "Super Smash Bros." for Wii U will be the first to support Amiibo and each figurine will retain individual data, which in turn beefs up the character. The company also said multiple games will support Amiibo including "Mario Kart 8."
