Nike Air Zoom Pulse Price: New Shoes Perfect For Nurses Or Doctors With 12-hour Shifts

Nike has come up with a unique pair of shoes for our "everyday heroes." Designed for comfort, the Nike Air Zoom Pulse is perfect for the doctors, nurses, and other professionals who are on their feet all day long or are on 12-hour shifts.

The special set of trainers is durable and immensely easy to get on and off. The handy design also makes cleaning it an effortless chore.

Another plus point about these trainers is they are made of a material that prevents fluids from soaking into them. The secure grip of the sole ensures the workers don't stumble or fall even if they are running during an emergency.

In a statement, Nike said, "Nurses, for example, walk approximately four to five miles and sit for less than an hour during the course of a 12-hour shift." They further added, "The work is physically and mentally demanding. The design for the Air Zoom Pulse tackles those challenges with simplicity in mind," according to DailyMail.

The company says the trainers are "traditional clogs made athletic," and they are all set to launch it next month. However, the price of the shoes remains undisclosed. But, similar ones usually start from $128.

Some of the key features of these trainers include that they have laceless fastening, you can wipe it clean and doesn't take much effort, and its rubber sole is durable. Also, the shoes come with an elastic strap, which makes it easy for medical professionals to even take it off and on with just one hand.

Nike collaborated with OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland, Oregon, to develop these shoes. The company said, "One can think of the Air Zoom Pulse as almost a traditional clog made athletic – all the arch and posture support of that industry favorite is augmented in the Pulse, with a smooth capacity for natural motion."

In fact, the children at the hospital were asked to add their own spin to the trainers, and the money collected was donated to the hospital. The Nike Air Zoom Pulse will be launched on December 7.
