True, Nick Jonas is joining “The Voice." But, no, the other Jonas’ brothers aren’t feeling “betrayed”— they’re, in fact, happy for Nick and are waiting for him to kill it on Season 18.
As soon as reports surfaced of Nick joining the show as a new coach, rumor mills began to work all night to rustle up ridiculous tales that couldn’t be farther from the truth. According to a report on Naughty Gossip, Joe and Kevin are seething because they weren’t called to be a part of the reality singing gig with their brother.
“All the competition between the three guys melted away as they got back together for their most successful tour ever,” a supposed source said. The alleged insider went on to state that the trio was “enjoying sharing the spotlight together as a band again." However, Nick allegedly ruined it for them by agreeing to grow selfishly solo in his career. “An old wound has been opened up,” the insider added.
Fans were about to get carried by this fabricated yet popular report doing the rounds until Gossip Cop busted it. In fact, Joe Jonas retweeted a video of Nick making it official about him being a part of the show. “Congrats brother! Can’t wait to see you kill it on Season 18…” Joe added to the retweet. And, he’s not the only one to do so. Kevin also took to Twitter and shared the video, which sees Nick sharing the news to the world on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show." “Congrats @nickjonas on joining @nbcthevoice!! Proud of you!” he said.
Their public display of support has evidenced that things are cool between the three brothers. On the work front, things are looking bright for the artists as the Jonas Brothers will be touring up until February. Their Instagram feeds and stories often drop hints at what one could expect from their various gigs. The trio seems excited about Nick’s new show and their joint projects too. While the news is indeed big, it’s a given that fans will be treated to a flurry of fabricated stories on rifts brewing between Nick and his brothers.
