Just two weeks remain until the annual NFL trade deadline is officially here. On Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. ET, teams will no longer be able to trade for the remainder of the 2016-17 season.

A lot of teams have to make adjustments and roster changes, and making a trade could be the best option. What could possibly happen this year? Let's break down some of the latest trade rumors.

Tony Romo out of Dallas?

Dak Prescott is playing exceptionally well for the Dallas Cowboys, especially given the fact that he’s a rookie quarterback. Many are speculating that the Cowboys will trade Romo and get back value, thus make Prescott the full-time starter. Makes sense? Maybe, but not likely. Romo still has a very large contract, and Jerry Jones is one of the biggest Romo supporters out there. You can count on Romo staying in the Lone Star State.

Cleveland Shipping Joe Thomas?

Joe Thomas nearly got traded out of Cleveland last year, but the Denver Broncos didn’t pull the trigger. The Browns aren’t getting better anytime soon, and unloading a veteran offensive lineman who still has two years left on his contract could be wise. A lot of teams could use Thomas’ talents heading into the second half of the season.

Joe Haden out of Cleveland?

Let the fire sale in Cleveland begin. There was a short time when Joe Haden was considered one of the best corners in the game, but injuries have plagued the young cornerback. Haden only played in five games for the Browns last season, and the Browns aren’t benefiting from his services at all. Maybe the Carolina Panthers would be a good fit considering they longer have Josh Norman.

What about Cameron Wake?

The 34-year-old linebacker has played his entire career with the Miami Dolphins, but it wouldn’t be shocking if the Dolphins choose to ship Wake and rebuild. After this season Wake still has two years and nearly $15 million of salary cap hits remaining, and many insiders in South Beach believe trading him would be a smart decision. “Like I said, as long as they'll have me, I'll be here. And as long as I'm able, I'll do whatever I can to make this a winning team,” Wake said.

End of an Era in Kansas City?

Jamaal Charles has been one of the most productive running backs in recent years, but his time with the Kansas City Chiefs could be coming to an end. Charles has a $7 million cap hit next season, his final year under contract, but Spencer Ware has been playing fantastic in his place. More than likely the Chiefs will make offers around the league, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they will get what they desire. In all likelihood, the Chiefs will cut Charles after this season to save money and a roster spot.
