Dozens of New Yorkers turned out for another lookalike competition over the weekend, this time for the UnitedHealthcare CEO assassin which participants claimed was organized by the "FBI."

Several contestants arrived wearing dark colored jackets or hooded sweatshirts and wore black or gray masks covering the bottom half of their faces.

As the participants lined up for photos at Washington Square Park, the same location where the iconic Timothée Chalamet lookalike contest was originally held, one reporter is heard saying in a video posted to X, "Who's the organizer for this?"

"The FBI," one candidate jokes, provoking a fit of laughter among the other participants and the crowd.

One of the participants was also seen wearing a flag or banner with the words "deny defend depose," which were the words authorities reportedly found engraved into the bullets CEO Brian Thompson was shot and killed with.

The words on the bullets are similar to to the title of Jay Feinman's book, "Delay, Deny, Defend," which criticizes insurance practices. Following the shooting, many people shared stories on social media of times where their health insurance was denied.

The contest was initially a popular joke among social media users after photos of the alleged shooter were released by police last week. The photos, one of which featured the suspect smiling, sent users swooning, with many joking about hosting a lookalike competition in their "bedroom."
