New Threads, Same Vibrant Passion: Countries Start Revealing Their Copa América Jerseys

SEATTLE - 16 countries from The Americas will head to the United States in less than 100 days to compete at the 2024 Copa América, the second-ever one to be held in North America.

As federations make their last preparations ahead of the big tournament, there's already been a key moment for fans: brands have started revealing their new uniforms.

Out of the 14 teams that have already secured a spot in the group stages, German brand Adidas will dress half of them, while Nike has seen its representation reduced to just two teams (Brazil and United States, whose jerseys will be released on March 21). Ecuadorian manufacturer Marathon will also count with two national teams at this year's event, with Ecuador and Bolivia repping the brand's logo.

Another German brand, Puma, will represent Paraguay (and perhaps Uruguay) while Reebok is set to make its return to soccer by supplying Panama.

Uruguay's case is more complicated as their current deal with German supplier Puma expired in December 2023. They are yet to reach a new deal with Puma or with any other brand.
