New Melania Trump Book Reveals Why She Is Called ‘The Protector’ In White House

A new book based on the life of Melania Trump explores her rise, biggest controversies and the constant influence she has had on the president of the U.S. and her husband, Donald Trump.

“ The Art of Her Deal,” written by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Mary Jordan, explores the rise of Melania and her influence. It also delves into some of the biggest scandals he’s been involved in so far, including arriving late at the White House to speech plagiarism.

Trump’s first term as POTUS has been full of hiccups but one aspect that has remained constant is his wife, Melania. The former model and businesswoman have been constantly by side of her husband, despite his name being involved in some of the biggest scandals and controversies.

“ I think there are so many misconceptions about her - probably chiefly among them that she was arm candy, just a good-looking woman who didn’t do much,” Jordan said during an interview.

The author further added that Trump doesn’t really trust anyone around and whenever he has to make a big decision, even if it involves decisions concerning hiring or firing of anyone, he likes to go to Melania for a final gut check.

“ People say that the most dangerous place in the White House is in the crosshairs of Melania Trump,” she added.

Melania is known to be a private person who deliberately controls all her actions and movements when in public. On the contrary, her husband is completely the opposite, which is one thing that tends to go against her.

However, in her book, Jordan mentions how Melania is nothing like him and had an incredible story that has evolved her into a person she is today.

Melania came to America when she was 26 and she is the only FLOTUS in the history of the country who grew up not speaking English, which Jordan believes it qualifies as an incredible journey considering her position today.

Jordan further adds that one of the biggest myths that people around her have about Melania is that she only wanted to be rich. But rather she always wanted to be where the “action is.”

The author said that inside the White House, Melania has been given a nickname “the protector” because of her nature. The book reveals how she has kept her son Barron her number one priority and kept him away from the limelight during Trump’s presidency.
