New iPhone 12 Release Date Set In November 2020; Variants, Price And Specs Leaked

Many details of the all-new iPhone 12 have been leaked in the past, however, the latest leak is one of the most comprehensive ones among all.

Jon Prosser, who runs a YouTube channel by the name Front Page Tech, has revealed many details about the new iPhone 12 in his new video. The new information, which comes from a leaked source, also reveals the names of the different variants of the highly-anticipated and latest iPhone.

The video mentions that the four variants would be named iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Of all the variants, iPhone 12 is expected to be the cheapest one, with 4GB RAM. It will further have an option to choose between 128GB or 256GB of storage.

The basic version, iPhone 12, is expected to feature a 5.4-inch OLED Super Retina Display. While the 128GB variant is expected to cost around $649, the 256GB may cost somewhere around $749.

The version superior to the basic model, iPhone Max, is expected to cost around $749 for the 128GB variant and $849 for 256GB. All other features of this variant are expected to be the same as the basic iPhone 12. However, it is expected to sport a 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina Display.

The two higher versions of the new iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, are expected to have 6GB of RAM, with three storage options of 128GB, 256GB or 512GB.

Out of the two phones, iPhone 12 Pro is said to cost $999, $1,099 and $1,299 respectively, depending on the storage space. On the other hand, iPhone 12 Pro Max is expected to cost $1,099, $1,199, or $1,399 for 128GB, 256GB or 512GB variants, repectively.

Previously, Prosser also covered leaks concerning the MacBook Pro 13 and iPhone SE, which turned out to be true. Therefore, it is believed that the new information related to iPhone 12 names and features could turn out to be genuine as well.

Both iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are expected to come with the same features, with a difference in the screen size. While iPhone 12 Pro is expected to sport a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display with 10-bit color depth and ProMotion, i Phone 12 Pro Max is expected to have a 6.7-inch display with the same features.

The new range of iPhone 12 is expected to be released in October or November 2020.
