After a six-month engagement, Naya Rivera and Big Sean have called it quits. A recent report on Star Magazine claims the rapper cheated on Rivera leading her to call off the engagement. However, the official statement from Sean’s camp tells otherwise. "After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off. The recent rumors and accusations reported by so-called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter."
So if Sean didn’t cheat on Naya, and he was the one who called off the engagement, what really happened between the two of them? According to Hollywood Life, an insider revealed that Naya was always doubting her fiancé’s faithfulness to her and got extremely jealous if he met any women. “She got jealous so fast that it threw Big Sean off guard,” the source revealed. “He tried to adapt to it and fix it because he was in love with her but it just got to be way too much and it was just one thing after another.”
The insider continued, “Sean also felt that she was controlling and he didn’t like that. He thought they should have had a more even and relaxed relationship, which happened at first but it definitely took a turn for the worse fast.” TMZ also added that sources claim that in fact, the cheating rumors were false and that Naya was the one who drove the relationship to the end, being “too controlling” and “too jealous of the women he worked with and met on tour.”
Big Sean reportedly made the decision to call off the engagement and wedding a few weeks ago.
