Although World Teacher’s Day has been celebrated on October 5 every year since 1994 to promote and recognize the importance educators in shaping the future of every generation, National Teacher Appreciation Day is celebrated on Tuesday of the first full week of May (May 3 this year) in the U.S. This day is dedicated to show appreciation and highlight the many contributions of the teaching profession.
