National Frozen Yogurt Day: Free Cups, Coupons, Deals And Scoops

It’s a great week to be a fan of frozen yogurt! February 6^th is National Frozen Yogurt Day and large companies of the delicious dessert, Yogurtland, Pinkberry and Menchie’s are all celebrating by serving up free yogurt. All three froyo chains are giving away coupons, giveaways and a free 6 oz. cup during certain hours throughout the day. Let’s start with Yogurtland where they are offering a free small cup of frozen yogurt and free toppings from 4pm – 7pm. We called the local Yogurtland in Southern California and some chains said that they participated in the holiday on Monday and Tuesday, while other chains are still honoring the deal for today’s National recognition. In any event, we recommend calling your local Yogurtland store before going in for your free cup.

Pinkberry, the posh yogurt chain that really started the second coming of the soft frozen dessert is also participating with free small yogurts and free toppings from 5pm -7pm. Not all stores are participating, but if you live in the Southern California area where it’s 75 degrees and sunny outside, you might want to head over to your local Pinkberry location.

If you miss out on the opportunity for some free yogurt from the first two national chains, then we recommend heading over to Menchie’s where every location we called across the country acknowledged that they would be giving out a free 6 oz. frozen yogurt at all stores across the U.S. and Puerto Rico between the hours of 4-8PM. We’re not sure about the toppings, but we imagine those are included as well.

Finally, if you don’t have the luxury of living close to any of these delicious froyo establishments, then try calling the nearest frozen yogurt shop near you and ask them if they are participating in National Frozen Yogurt day. We discovered that many privately owned stores are also giving out free yogurt, discounts and coupons for those that stop by. So if you’re in the mood for a little fat free frozen treat, head on over to your nearest froyo store and celebrate the holiday, just watch out for the brain freeze!
