More than four months ago, we announced that "Naruto" creator Masashi Kishimoto is preparing a new mini-sequel manga to "Naruto Shippuden" following the end of the original manga on Nov. 10. Now, new reports confirm that the upcoming "Naruto" spin-off sequel is slated to arrive on April 27.
As we've reported before, the upcoming "Naruto" sequel is one of the many endeavors Masashi Kishimoto has planned for his big "Naruto Shin Jidai Kaimaku Project" (Naruto's New Era Opening Project), The first project was "The Last: Naruto the Movie" full-length animation, which appealed to the fans that wanted to see the beginnings of Naruto and Hinata's romantic relationship.
(WARNING: SPOILERS) For the "Naruto" fans that are completely current with both the manga as well as the anime and movie, then you will know that Naruto and Hinata get married and have children. Their first child is son Bolt followed by their daughter Himawari. What's more, Naruto's friends are all grown up and have children of their own. Sasuke and Sakura have a daughter named Sarada. Shikamura and Temari have a son named Shikadai. Choji marries Karui and have a daughter named Chocho. Ino and Sai have a son Inojin.
According to reports, the new "Naruto" spin-off sequel doesn't just follow Naruto, who becomes Hokage of the Leaf Village, and his shinobi friends as adults. Instead, more emphasis will be placed on the trials and tribulations of their children.
The new "Naruto" sequel manga is titled "Naruto Gaiden: Nanadaime Hokage to Akairo no Hanatsuzuki" (Naruto Spinoff: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring Month). The new manga is slated to arrive with Weekly Shonen Jump combined 22nd/23rd issue on April 27. Stay tuned as we learn more in the month ahead!
