Elon Musk was seated next to Donald Trump at a private, high-dollar "candlelight" dinner at Mar-a-Lago, where guests were reportedly asked to pay $1 million "per person" for access to the president.

In recent weeks, Trump has been hosting exclusive fundraising events under the banner of MAGA Inc., a super PAC backing his 2024 presidential campaign, WIRED reported.

On March 1, a similar dinner was held, with invitations stating that attendees needed to pay $1 million per person. Reports have also surfaced that business leaders could secure private meetings with Trump for $5 million.

Critics have raised concerns about the influence such gatherings grant to wealthy donors, especially so early in Trump's administration.

The March 15 event at Mar-a-Lago was not listed on Trump's official schedule but attracted high-profile attendees, including Musk and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. Social media footage showed luxury cars on display, while guests mingled in formal attire.

Meanwhile, Trump's administration continued its aggressive immigration policies, defying a federal judge's ruling by deporting alleged Venezuelan gang members despite legal restrictions.
