The poll, conducted by Yahoo News/YouGov, found that a majority of potential Democratic primary voters want to see someone other than President Biden run for the party's nomination in 2024.
Concretely, the poll found that 54% of potential primary voters believe another candidate should challenge Biden, while only 28% say it is not necessary. This suggests that the president could face a serious challenge to his re-election bid if a strong contestant emerges.
