In a scale of one to ten, how embarrassed would your kids be if you went to see them at their talent show and ended up being the center of attention for fighting with another mom? Yes, we thought that too.

Unfortunately, that was the case in Lakeview Elementary School, in St. Cloud, Florida, after Latisha James and Jessica Tyler engaged in physical violence in the middle of a performance.

According to police reports, Tyler asked James to sit down because the latter was blocking her view after she stood up to take pictures and videotape the number. Then Tyler went back to her seat, and a moment later she stood up again to go in front of James and take a picture herself.

When Jessica Tyler was going back to her seat, she bumped into Latisha James' other kid and things got heated as James realized it and went over to her and started choking her. They were swearing and causing a scene in front of the children, and another parent had to intervene to break up the fight.

In an interview with WKMG Local 6, James admits she was in fact standing up taking pictures.

"When they announced the second grade class, I was not the only one who stood up," said James.

In the 911 call, Tyler said she was attacked after she accidentally bumped into a child.

"Once she knocked my baby over, I just snapped," James said. "And she did not say I'm sorry."

Both women claim to be victims, and according to Orlando Sentinel, 39-year-old Latisha James and 27-year-old Jessica Tyler face battery charges and have been banned from the St. Cloud school.

"I didn't go to the school with the intention of messing up the show or putting my hands on anybody," James said. "I don't behave like that. I cannot say how much, how remorseful I am. I am totally remorseful. I've never been to jail before."

Meanwhile, Tyler is most upset because she wasn't able to attend her daughter's 5th grade graduation after being banned from school property.
