The judges are of extreme importance at the Miss Universe 2017 beauty pageant as they determine the winner. Judging the beauty pageant are three former Miss Universe titleholders: Dayanara Torres who won in 1993 for Puerto Rico, Sushmita Sen who won in 1994 for India and Leila Lopes who won in 2011 for Angola, will be on the panel. Joining the panel are Mickey Boardman, Francine LeFrak and Cynthia Bailey in the roles that will ultimately score and determine who will be Pia Alonzo's successor.
Sushmita Sen was one of the first personalities to confirm her assistance. "Getting ready with a dancing heart! Steve Harvey is back as host after his major fail during the last event when he announced the wrong winner. Joining the comedian is Ashley Graham who will be backstage as all the actions happens.
Performing during the live show are Flo Rida and Boyz II Men. The winner of Miss Universe will immediately move to a luxury apartment in New York City, which will be her home base while she spends her reign traveling the globe, developing and representing her platforms, and raising awareness and funds for charitable initiatives.
Miss Universe 2017 will be broadcasted live to the world from the Mall of Asian Arena in the Philippines. The show will start airing on Sunday, January 29 at 7pm ET/PT on the FOX network.
