Miranda Kerr has every right to ensure she’s safe and healthy all the time. However, the precautions she’s taking to do so are going viral, making people think is she has gone paranoid.
Back in May, Kerr gave an interview to a beauty magazine about the health precautions she employs in her home. Months have passed but now her responses to that interview are starting to get wider attention, as reported by Page Six. Some people think her precautions are actually on the extreme side already.
Married to Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, it can only be assumed that she’s not wary of technologies. Instead, her response to the question of safety precautions is making people think of the opposite.
“I have the EMF [electromagnetic field] detector that picks up the waves in the air. I’ve had the whole house checked by a professional,” she told New Beauty Mag.
She’s very worried about radiation, it seems. “We have the stickers you put on the back of your phone for radiation,” she shared.
Orlando Bloom's ex wife even said she has a button at home that “turns all the power off, except for the fridge and security cameras, in the nighttime.”
Given how meticulous she is about the safety precautions she is taking on her environment, it is only expected that she is also being careful about what she is doing inside her body. This assumption is not wrong. “I also have an alkaline water filter so I can pick the pH of our water … You don’t want to be going too alkaline because you do need a little stomach acid to digest your food,” she said.
If that is not enough to say she’s being too safe, she also said, “I like using Palo Santo to clear the energy in the space, and I also have little diffusers around the house with essential oils, depending on what’s going on.”
Lastly, she said, “we even mop the floors with hot water and eucalyptus oil, which is what my mother used to do.” Wow.
Naturally, many took to Twitter to air their surprise. Many also could not resist but mock what she revealed. For instance, Smash Block TV claimed that she can completely compete with Gwyneth Paltrow and her promotion of the “Goop” life. Read, expensive and impractical.
Actual lists are being created of the absurd prices associated with Goop products and articles have been written about the ludicrious tips Paltrow has been dishing about wellness and well-being.
