Miley Cyrus Tweets Amid Marriage Split: 'Change Is Inevitable'

Miley Cyrus knew that all eyes are anticipating her next move on social media after news of her separation with husband broke out and she opted for a vague message.

The singer tweeted on Monday two photos of her standing on a mountain with a caption about evolution, nature and embracing change.

“Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win. Like the mountain I am standing on top of, which was once under water, connected with Africa, change is inevitable. The Dolomites were not created over night, it was over millions of years that this magnificent beauty was formed,” she wrote.

She also mentioned a takeaway from her father, “Achy Breaky Heart” singer Billy Ray Cyrus: “Nature never hurries but it is always on time.”

“... It fills my heart with peace and hope KNOWING that is true. I was taught to respect the planet and its process and I am committed to doing the same with my own...” she said, hinting of finding respect for herself and her own process.

Just a day after Cyrus posted the tweet, actor Liam Hemsworth took to Instagram to announce their separation. He posted a sunset over ocean photo with the heartbreaking news.

“Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward,” he wrote in the caption.

He also declared that the post will be the last statement people will hear from him about the split.

“This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false,” he said.

Cyrus and Hemsworth tied the knot in December last year.

Just hours after news of the couple’s breakup came out, Cyrus had been spotted kissing with Kaitlynn Carter, Brody Jenner’s ex, at Lake Como in Italy.

Carter also posted a picture of her and Cyrus together at the same hotel on Instagram.

A tweet speculating that Cyrus’ sexuality caused her separation with Hemsworth had been making rounds online.

“Bi is greedy and never satisfied,” said Twitter user @theTigerbob. Cyrus identifies as pansexual and not bisexual.

Singer Halsey who identifies as bisexual quickly slammed the user.

“Stop being afraid of women who aren’t afraid to do what pleases them and not other people,” she wrote on Twitter.
