Miley Cyrus' latest antics and twerking have eliminated the chances of the pop star being featured on the pages of Vogue. According to reports, Miley was supposed to be the cover of the December issue of the fashion magazine, and a photo shoot had already taken place. Hollywood News Daily said that following the "We Can't Stop" singer's controversial MTV VMA performance, Anna Wintour has reportedly cancelled the cover shoot.
"Anna found the whole thing distasteful. She decided, based on Miley's performance, to take the cover in a different direction," an insider revealed to the site. However, Refinery 29 investigated the matter and found out that the cover was never set in stone and a photo shoot had even yet to take place. It was just an idea the magazine was toying with, but has since decided against.
Nevertheless, Cyrus is far from blacklisted from the glossy pages. The former "Hannah Montana" star recently posed for a chic spread in Harper's Bazaar's fall fashion issue wearing various high-end couture outfits that made her look like a refined young lady, and for a second, made us forget her infamous performance alongside Robin Thicke last month.
