R&B star Miguel has the media buzzing with his altercation in San Diego. The Mexican/African-American singer apparently was second away from coming to blows with a club owner on Wednesday.

According to TMZ, Miguel had to be held back from throwing blows with a San Diego club owner. The issue started when the singer made a deal with the owner of Side Bar to appear. The owner admits that the contract says nothing about Miguel singing.

The owner told the site that he and the singer made a verbal agreement in which Miguel would agree to perform one song.

Things got rocky when Miguel decided to stand by the contract saying that he never agreed to sing. The owner reportedly kept pushing the mic in his face and that’s when things took a turn for the worst.

In the video, you see the packed venue and you can hear Miguel’s hit song “Sure Thing” played in the background. Visibly agitated, the singer yells “ Get the f*ck out of my face,” and tells the security guard to “move.”

A security guard is holding the star back as he tries to get closer and attack the club owner. He repeatedly yells “Get the f*ck out of my face,” as security tries their best to handle the situation.

The guard yells to someone out of the frame “get the f*cking car ready” so that the singer can leave the club.

According to Side Bar’s Instagram, Miguel’s appearance was part of a fundraiser aimed to raise money for breast cancer awareness.

Since his infamous leg drop incident at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards and working on new music, the singer has been keeping a pretty low profile.

Miguel has yet to make a statement regarding the incident. There is no word on the club owner pressing any charges at this time.
