Michelle Rodríguez has been as shocked as many of her co-stars on the "The Fast And The Furious" at the news of Paul Walker's untimely death on Saturday. The Latina actress took to Facebook to express her sadness: "I'm gonna carry this torch for you brother, with a forced smile on my face and Im gonna open my heart just cause your telling me to," the 35-year-old actress wrote. She also posted pictures of the cast together on the original film.
Michelle Rodríguez starred in three of the "Fast and The Furious" films alongside Walker and was filming the seventh movie in the series at the time of his death. Her other co-stars have also taken to social media to express their grief: Tyrese wrote on Instagram, "My heart is hurting so bad no one can make me believe this is real. Father God I pray that you send clarity over this cause I just don't understand My heart hurts it's broken no one can convince me that this is real."
Tyrese himself visited the crash site and had what appeared to be an emotional breakdown at the scene. TMZ captured the footage. Walker died when the Porsche his friend Roger Rodas was driving lost control, hitting a lamppost and bursting into flames.
