The members of Mexico's dangerous drug cartel reportedly recorded themselves beheading a young male captive in a horrifying ISIS-style execution video.
The hitmen reported to be the members of one of Mexico's most dangerous drug cartels, the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), executed the beheading of a young man with a machete and recorded the beheading in a horrifying ISIS style video. The video of the execution has gone viral on social media platforms. The cartel is reportedly led by the country's most wanted criminal, Nemesio 'El Mencho' Cervantes, Daily Star reported.
In the first of two clips circulating online, the young male captive, who was reportedly affiliated with a rival gang, is forced to issue a declaration on behalf of the CJNG.
"Mr. Mencho and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel is the f***ing boss here in the state of Michoacán and throughout all of Mexico," he says in the video.
"This will be the fate of everyone involved in bulls***."
In the second video, which lasts around 10 seconds and is circulating online, the cartel's hitmen can be seen chopping the man's head off with a machete.
Emojis have been placed over most of the gore in the video so that the videos weren't immediately taken down from social media sites. However, it is still very clear what is happening despite the fact that emojis have been placed over most of the gore.
A song can be reportedly heard in the second video clip in which he is being executed. The song heard playing in the video was found to be Clika Nostra by the Mexican rap group Cartel de Santa. The tune tells the story of dangerous gangsters from Northern Mexico who execute thieves.
The hitmen from the infamous cartel have released several videos mimicking Jihadi gore propaganda clips in the past as well.
In July this year, a video emerged of three members of a rival gang Pájaros Sierra being brutally beheaded by members of CJNG. In the videos, the men were seen getting killed one by one. The second and third victims were heard sobbing as the CJNG executioner took a seven-inch blade to the neck of the first victim.
"This will be the fate of every Pájaros Sierra b***h. You sons of b***hes we’re coming after you," the executioner says in the video.
Execution videos reportedly started becoming popular among drug traffickers by Los Zetas. Los Zetas is a cartel that was formed by members of the US-trained Mexican Special Forces after they deserted their ranks.
One of Los Zetas' leaders, Iván Velázquez Caballero, earned himself the nickname 'El Talibano' (in reference to the Taliban) after he carried out killings in a similar fashion.
