National Men Make Dinner Day always falls on the first Thursday of November. As its name indicates pretty clearly, it’s a day for a man to make dinner to his kids, grandparents, wife, boyfriend, pets, husband or whomever he pleases. The holiday was created by Sandy Sharkey in 2001, and it does not mean men shouldn’t cook the rest of the year, but it’s a good excuse to put him in the kitchen to practice some of his culinary skills (or lack thereof).
