Memorial Day 2014 is almost here and as we prepare to honor the fallen heroes of the United States Armed Forces, there is traditionally multiple barbecues to attend, several beers to drink and then of course all-day TV marathons to watch. Some of the TV shows to watch this weekend are dedicated to the Americans who have dies while in military service, most are just purely perpetual couch lounging perfection. Memorial Day Weekend Marathon at 6 a.m. on TCM
“Turner Classic Movies airs three days of movies about servicemen and women in times of war and peace, and in situations both dramatic and comedic. The marathon also includes touching stories of the families who wait at home while their loved ones are away.
