The Duke and Duchess of Sussex might have welcomed their first baby, Archie Harrison, to the world. However, a report has surfaced that Meghan Markle is harboring a “secret daughter,” and it’s not Prince Harry’s. Is Baby Archie now a little brother?

New Idea reported that Meghan already calls another kid her secret daughter — Ivy, the daughter of her best friend, Jessica Mulroney. “Meghan really treats Ivy as if she were her own,” an insider shared.

The kid’s bond with the 38-year-old royalty is said to be really “tight,” which is a big reason why she’s considering moving back home to the US. Right now, they constantly talk, Skype and exchange “handwritten letters and sweet thoughtful gifts.”

A factor for shutting down her social media accounts created before she became royalty was to keep the privacy of her friends’ children who are often posted on her accounts. Meghan became even more protective of Ivy when she became a mom herself.

The duchess never hid the fact that she wanted to have a baby girl for herself. Back in 2015, she told Hello! magazine of her plan to pass down a Cartier French Tank to her future daughter one day. Engraved behind the watch is the message “To M.M. From M.M.”

“Meghan definitely wants to have a daughter,” another insider revealed. “She longed for a little girl for so long and can’t wait until she’s blessed with their own princess.”

Meghan and Harry are reportedly thinking of adopting a child from Botswana, a country they consider dear after visiting an orphanage there and getting “deeply moved.” The source mentioned that the two already “vowed to each other” that they would soon return and give one of the children a home of their own.

But a possible move to the US won’t do good to their already strained relationship with the rest of the royal family, the publication noted. “[Meghan] has never been to Balmoral and the Queen was disappointed they’re not going,” a source told The Sun, which refers to the couple’s “snub” of the annual Balmoral family vacation. They mentioned how the 4-month-old Archie was “too young” for the trip to be reason for their decline.
