It looks like Meghan's life before Prince Harry has come back to give her nightmares. According to reports, the former actress told a journalist that back in 2013, the former soccer star, Ashley Cole had "tried very hard" to get her attention on the social media platform, Twitter.
Ashley Cole's brother Matty Cole has now spoken about it. According to The Sun, Cole said, "It's nonsense, completely made up. He definitely wouldn't have to beg Meghan Markle for a date."
He further added, "She's not the kind of girl he goes for anyway, and he's never fancied her."
Sources believe that Markle's claims were a part of her strategy, which was to boost her star profile in England. But then, we all know that on May 19, 2018, she went on to marry Prince Harry and then gave birth to their son, Archie.
In an ITV documentary, Markle claimed that the British tabloids were out to "destroy" her. The former "Suits" actress also noted how no one treats her with sympathy and doesn't even ask her if she is doing okay.
Markle's former friend Lizzie Cundy revealed that before Meghan met Prince Harry, she "all but begged" for media attention. Cundy also termed Meghan as "manipulating" and said she has "seen a different side" of the Duchess after she became a part of the royal family.
It is also reported that Prince Harry has been reprimanded for confirming the rift between the brothers in the same documentary. According to a royal source, the couple portrayed themselves as "whiners and hypocrites and Her Majesty was outraged." We can only hope that the Sussexes work it all out.
