Meghan Markle Banned From Wearing Jeans, Wedges - Queen Hates Them!

Meghan Markle is yet restricted to do one more thing that she enjoys. Allegedly, Queen Elizabeth is forbidding her to wear ripped jeans and wedges at Balmoral. The reason? The Queen hates them!

The Duchess of Sussex is expected to adhere to some form of a fashion code when she and Prince Harry make their first trip to the Scottish Castle this summer. According to royal source, the former “Suits” star has to do away with two fashion items she personally enjoys - wedges and ripped jeans.

The actress-turned-royal no doubt favors these if one is to check her past photos. However, the Majesty “hates” these “with passion.” Put that way, it seems that Markle cannot do anything about it. ““The Queen is no favourite of jeans so the US boyfriend look and ripped jeans will be left in Frogmore Cottage along with any wedges,” the source shared to Fabulous Digital.

Prince Harry’s wife, who just gave birth back in May, shocked many when she went to the Wimbledon wearing jeans. So this ban might be a problem.

The source, however, claimed that Markle need not wear formal clothing all the time in Balmoral. The source claimed that the duchess already sported Barbour jackets, Muck Boots and black hunter boots in the past, so she can wear these again during this retreat. Her attire will just change to designer outfits when she is in the presence or company of the queen.

“It has been mentioned that Meghan could well be wearing a few Scottish designers whilst at Balmoral and for church appearances with the Queen,” the source revealed.

If there is any consolation, Markle’s visit to the Balmoral will not include grouse-hunting. It is notable that Markle is not a fan of the activity since she is a known animal lover. There is no doubt that she will attend this activity despite her personal detest of it, since she attended the gathering last year, albeit not the shooting itself.

However, because of an infestation of heather beetles earlier this year, the popular past time at the estate has been canceled. If this is good news for Markle, other guests might not find the same pleasure with this. “There’s not much else to do at Balmoral and that’s why so many guests come. It’s a great shame,” one source said to Daily Express.
