Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their first child, Archie, last May. And there are rumors that the royal couple will welcome their second child on their son’s first birthday.

A tabloid claimed that the Duke of Sussex himself confirmed the news about his wife’s pregnancy. An unnamed source said that Meghan couldn’t stop touching her stomach, which could mean that she’s already 3 months pregnant. If this is the case, the “Suits” alum will give birth between April and May 2020.

The tabloid also claimed that Prince Harry’s emotional speech at the WellsChild Awards is another confirmation that Meghan is pregnant with her second child. But according to rumor-debunking site Gossip Cop, there’s no truth to the claims.

The publication pointed out the fact that the tabloid was unable to provide enough proof to confirm that Meghan is pregnant. Gossip Cop also said that it’s unlikely that Prince Harry’s emotional speech about his son and wife is an indication that the latter is expecting.

This isn’t the first time that the same tabloid published a fake story about the members of the royal family. Just this week, they claimed that Queen Elizabeth will be giving the throne to Kate Middleton.

Her Majesty doesn’t have the right or the power to just give away the throne to any member of the royal family regardless of how much she likes the royal on a personal level. Royal rules suggest that since Prince Charles is the heir to the throne, he will be the one to take over the monarchy after the Queen passes away. As such, Prince Charles’ wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, will be the next queen or queen consort.

Gossip Cop also said that they doubt the credibility of the alleged Buckingham Palace source mentioned in both stories published by the tabloid. Since the name of the palace insider was not mentioned, it’s unlikely that their source is credible.

In the past, the same tabloid also accused Meghan of being a runaway bride. They also said that Meghan and Prince Harry will have a vow renewal ceremony. The tabloid also claimed that Meghan was pregnant with twins. All of these allegations have been proven to be incorrect.
